The Members of the Committee declared that the Bill (Reg.№4271) regulates the issue on organization of new academies, defines the order of the personnel formation etc.
In particular, the Bill envisages that the formation of new branch academies of science, founded on the state property id implemented on the initiative of not less then 50 eminent scientists and two thirds of these scientists are academics of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine or possess the scientific rand of Doctor of Science. The decision on the formation of the new Academy of Science is adopted by the Cabinet of Minister of Ukraine.
The Bill also suggest to implement that the quantity of the members (academics) and corresponding members of National Academy of Science and branch academies may be increased by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine after the presentation of the corresponding academy on science coordinated with the Ministries of Education and Science as well as with the Ministry on Finance of Ukraine.
